The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

On Friday, January 17, 2025, Department of Rail Transport (DRT) together with Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute ASEAN-India Regional Office (JTTRI-AIRO) had held The 1st Japan-Thailand Railway Workshop in the theme of ～Measures for Railway Safety～ at DRT meeting room on 2nd floor. Joining us with many participant from both government agency and railway operator, Japan and Thailand, such as State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Railway Bureau of Ministry of Land, Transport, Infrastructure and Tourism (MLIT), Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency (JRTT), Japan Transportation Technology (JTT).

In this very first workshop Thailand and Japan had share together their experiences and case studies related to railway safety and  the way to resolve any incident occur during operation time. not only the mesurement for handle accident situation but also the measurement for preventing accident and disasster.
