Aiming for Advanced Logistics in the Philippines - Improvement of Logistics in ASEAN Island Region - (Part 1)
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Department of Transportation Philippines (DOTr) together with Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute ASEAN-India Regional Office (JTTRI-AIRO) had held Logistics Symposium in the theme of Aiming for Advanced Logistics in the Philippines - Improvement of Logistics in ASEAN Island Region - (Part 1) at Dusit Thani Manila. In cooperated with Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Philippines.
In this symposium, the Philippines and Japan shared their experiences and knowledge related to logistics, both by sea and by land, as both countries have similar geographical characteristics as archipelagos. The goal is to improve current logistics systems to become more advanced and modern, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for their populations.
