The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

On Thursday, June 19, 2025, AIRO had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Arkhom TERMPITTAYAPAISITH Former Minister of Finance and Former Minister of Transport.

Mr. OKUDA President of JTTRI-AIRO and his team discuss over the activities of AIRO in the field of Railway Research and introduce JTTRI overseas activity on Japan-California Rail Decarbonization held in USA on May 21-22, 2025. Mr. OKUDA has share about how USA and Japan cooperate on implement system and new technology to reduce emissions in railway sector. H.E. Mr. Arkhom also comment and discuss on the possibility to implement this method in Thai railway sector toward decarbonization. Lastly Mr. OKUDA did share about the success of the 5th Thai-Japan Tourism Working Group in Chiang Mai and the plan toward the 6th Tourism Working Group is now on the agenda with MOTS, expected to hold in Japan, 2025. AIRO wishes to keep cooperating with his excellency and contribute our effort in research and study afterward.
