Meeting with Assoc. Prof. Apiwat RATANAWARAHA, Deputy Director of Chulalongkorn University Transportation Institute (CUTI)
On Friday, November 21, 2025, Mr. TOMITA Akihiro, Senior Research Fellow and Executive Director of AIRO, Mr. TAKAGI Susumu, Research Fellow of AIRO, and Dr. TAKESHITA Hiroyuki, Research Fellow of JTTRI-HQ, had meeting with Assoc. Prof. Apiwat RATANAWARAHA, Deputy Director of Chulalongkorn University Transportation Institute (CUTI), and Mr. UCHIYAMA Yosuke, Ph.D., Research Fellow of CUTI.
On this occasion, AIRO had the opportunity to discuss the current state of road public transportation in regional cities across Thailand. The meeting addressed topics related to Japan’s public transportation systems, including financial support schemes, and examples from various regions. In addition, AIRO shared result from our surveys on road public transportation and New mobility platforms in Manila and Delhi. We sincerely appreciate CUTI’s cooperation in supporting AIRO’s research activities.
