The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

     In September 2025, a logistics symposium titled “Aiming for Advance Logistics in Indonesia - Improvement of Logistic in ASEAN Island Region - (Part 2)” was held in Jakarta. During the symposium, several key challenges to logistics efficiency were identified, including multimodal transport, logistics hubs, and digitalization. In response, it was agreed to establish a bilateral working group between Japan and Indonesia to further examine concrete measures to address these issues. The working group discussed approaches and potential solutions to major logistics challenges in order to promote the development of an efficient logistics system in Indonesia and formulate policy recommendations.
